FUC/C.
Fuse-Breaker.

The FUC/C is a fuse-breaker combined device for general use, equipped with an automatic tripping device.

For lines from 12 to 36 kV, and current of 400A and 630A.

Equipped with automatic tripping device. Fuses fitted with striker generate automatic opening of the three poles when the striker of any of them acts.

The automatic opening of the FUC/C can be originated by:
– The fuse bolts
– Direct relays type PTE-4
– Disconnection relay to emission of current.

Manufactured according to IEC 62271-1 and IEC 62271-103.

PTE-4.
Thermal Relay.

The thermal relay PTE-4 has been developed and adjusted to equip free-trip switch breakers free kick. The PTE-4 relays protect against constant weak overloads, not influencing variable loads or short duration overloads. Combined with high breaking capability fuses, sufficiently effective protections are achieved at minimal cost, for circuits where rated power is small, so very high short-circuit can rise. In these cases the price of a great power breaking capability can be very high compared to the rest of the installation.
