The active part is occluded in epoxi resin making a compact body. This body is protected by a high quality brown porcelain enclosure to obtain a big creepage distance and a high resistance outdoors.

The primary terminals consist of horizontal flat copper terminals protected by an aluminum metal casing treated with special epoxy primer for weathering. On request, round bar terminals can be supplied in other materials.

The base and the other metallic elements are stainless or treated to prevent corrosion. It incorporates a stainless steel ground screw and supports the secondary terminal board.

This model VKE-24 allows a primary connection through a plug designed according to UNE-EN 50181.

The transformer is shielded by means a metallic enclosure that covers the resin body and allows it installation without any distance between them because the surface of the device is earthed and allows a better space optimization.

The transformers can be supplied unshielded on request for their installation in open cells, always taking into account the safety distances between them.
