The ARM TT is a load resistor cabinet designed for Voltage Transformers (VT). It consists of one to three groups of 3 resistors, their respective terminal block, and a 2 A Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB). These components are housed in a metal cabinet featuring ventilation (natural or forced, depending on the requested specifications), with connections protected by a sealable cover.
The cabinet is manufactured from sheet steel (lacquered or stainless, according to requirements) and features a 3 mm double-bit lock operated by a cam, sealed via a slotted screw to prevent unauthorized tampering.
It is designed for indoor service. Upon request, it can be manufactured for outdoor service, as well as in various other configurations.
Its function is to consume the necessary power to ensure the transformer operates at a minimum of 25% of its rated accuracy burden. This applies in cases where the loads connected to the device (meters, relays, etc.) do not reach the minimum threshold required to guarantee measurement accuracy.
