The thermal relay PTE-4 has been developed and adjusted to equip free-trip switch breakers free kick. The PTE-4 relays protect against constant weak overloads, not influencing variable loads or short duration overloads. Combined with high breaking capability fuses, sufficiently effective protections are achieved at minimal cost, for circuits where rated power is small, so very high short-circuit can rise. In these cases the price of a great power breaking capability can be very high compared to the rest of the installation.

Characteristics:

Rated frequency .............................................. 50 or 60 Hz

Possible rated currents (In): 0.4 - 0.64 - 1 - 1.6 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 7 to 10 - 12.5 - 15 to 20 - 25 - 30 - 40 - 50 - 60 - 80 - 100 - 125 A
